Obituary

 

Vickie Jo Archer Lynd, 63, Paoli, IN passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at IU Health Paoli Hospital.  She was born January 30, 1960, in Paoli, IN to William “Bill” Archer and Mary Catherine York Archer.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Roger Lynd, parents, brothers Jerry Dean and Ricky Lee Archer, and a sister, Melissa Diane Kee.

She had been employed by Paoli Shoe Factory and Joseph Industries.  She had attended Syria Christian Church in the past.

Vickie loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs.

Survivors include:

Brandi Jo Archer Knight (companion Derek Daugherty) Paoli, IN

Brother:

Frank Archer (Debbie)           Florida

Sister:

Christine Archer Dillard         Paoli, IN 

Also surviving Vickie are three grandchildren:  Kimana Knight, Chevy Knight, and Ivan Rode.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service on May 24, 2023. Cremation was chosen.
