Thomas G Whitfield, 70 of Paoli, Indiana, passed away Sunday March 22, 2020 at IU Health, Paoli. He was born May 27. 1949 in Paoli, Indiana to Melvin and Lillian McNeely Whitfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Thomas was a retired Paoli First Chance Center maintenance director and a former employee for the Town of Paoli.

He was a life-long cattle farmer in Millersburg, Indiana (Stampers Creek area). Thomas was a US Army Veteran from 1967-1976.

Visitation and funeral services for Tom have been limited to private family only Interment will be at Stampers Creek Cemetery. Due to the CDC mass gathering recommendation enforced by Indiana Governor, Eric Holcomb, no more than 10 people are allowed in a room at a time. We have made the difficult decision to have the funeral service and visitation be restricted to immediate family only. While this is not our ideal situation, we ask that you understand we are all new at this reaction to the pandemic situation at hand.
