Sally Farlow, 86, of Paoli, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was born February 16, 1934 in New Albany, Indiana to Donald Gordon

Steinkamp of Indiana and Virginia Luckett Steinkamp of Arkansas. She married Gerald Duane Farlow of Paoli on September 6, 1953 in her home church, French Lick United Methodist Church, and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2003.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Gerald Duane Farlow.

She worked with Paoli Chamber of Commerce to help organize what is now all the vendors that are on the square during Paoli Fall Festival. Sally worked many years at Orange County Surveyor’s Office and the last few years of her career were spent at Hoosier Uplands in Mitchell, Indiana. She was also sole owner of Calico Corner Gift Shop housed out of Farlow Clements Key Associates on Southwest corner of square where her husband Gerald Farlow had his insurance and real estate office. Sally named all the roads in subdivision that is East of Paoli IU Hospital.

Sally and her husband were long time members of Paoli Friends Meeting and during this year 2020, she placed membership at Syria Christian Church, where her daughter and son-in-law have been members for two years. She was a member of Paoli Tri Kappa, as well as served on Paoli Chamber of Commerce for several years. Sally was an avid reader and loved Danielle Steel and Nora Roberts novels. Sally also helped organize the Holiday Open House that is taken place on the Paoli square.

Great-Grandson, Jayden Duane Walker and Great-Granddaughter, Olivia Grace Walker also survive Sally Farlow.

Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2020 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, located at 226 W. Campbell St., Paoli, IN 47454. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Ames Chapel located at 5368 W. US Highway 56, Paoli, IN 47454. We ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Syria Christian Church in her honor.
