Roy Albert Payton, 73 of Paoli, Indiana, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Baptist health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born October 6, 1949 in Paoli, Indiana to Doyle and Hazel Payton.

He married Elizabeth Comley and she preceded him on November 9, 2021.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Clifford Payton, sisters Betty, Dorothy, Ruby, and Clara Bele Dunn 

 Roy was a self-employed Handyman.
