Roger Tolbert

Roger Tolbert, 72, of Paoli, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at his home in Paoli, Indiana. He was born in French Lick , Indiana to Lawrence Tolbert, Jr and Thelma Rominger Tolbert. 

He married Sherry Shelton on August 30, 1969 and she survives.

Roger was preceded in death by his father.

Roger graduated from Orleans High School with the class of 1968 and was a member of Orangeville Methodist Church.

Roger worked alongside his father at the Orange County Locker Plant and later retired from Reynolds, Incorporated.

Roger was an avid lover of all sports, but he especially loved Nascar and was a diehard IU Hoosier fan.

Visitation will be held at Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell St, Paoli, IN on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery.
