Robert E Williams

Robert E Williams, 75, of Hardinsburg, IN passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 9, 1947 in Paoli, IN to Charles Lawrence and Frances Radcliff Williams.

He married Lucy Halbert Williams on August 31, 1968 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Virginia Ann Williams and Sherry Jane Williams Campbell, and brother Charles “Larry” Williams.

Bob graduated with the Paoli High School class of 1966 and then went on to graduate from Vincennes and Purdue Universities. He attended Mt Pleasant Church.  He was a member of the National Muzzleloaders Association and Paoli Masonic Lodge #119 F & AM.  He was a farmer and retired from ARAB Pest Control after many years of service.  He enjoyed birdhunting with his son and grandson, spending time with his granddaughter, shooting in Friendship, IN and fishing and vacationing in Ludington, MI.

Son:       Robert “Bobby” Earl Williams, II (Michelle) LaFayette, IN

Grandchildren:     Hannah and Joshua Williams            LaFayette, IN

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454. Interment to follow at Stampers Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the funeral home and from 9 AM until the time of service on Saturday.  Masonic services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National muzzleloading rifle association (Sporting clays range)
