Ramona Fern Busick, 81, AKA Mamaw Fern Obituary

For the later days in her life, she has been under the dedicated care of the staff at Paoli Health and living community in Paoli Indiana.

She was born on August the 31st, 1939 to Louie and Lula Mathes Dooley in English Indiana.

Ramona was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert K. Busick, her parents, a granddaughter Madison Haley, brothers Norman Poe, Noble Dooley, Bill Dooley and Sisters Olive Poe, Carmen Poe Bundy and Audney Poe Lee.

Ramona attended Paoli Wesleyan Church, she loved to go camping with her family and enjoyed going on vacations to Tennessee. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; they would often take them on vacation with them. Ramona often said if she knew how much fun her grandchildren were, she would have had them first.

Ramona worked and retired from Paoli Walmart, she worked at Travelers in Orleans, RCA in Bloomington, the Shoe Factory, Big Wheel, and Joseph Industries in Paoli.

Rhonda (Guy) Stotts of Palmyra

Robin (Mark) Belcher of French Lick

Tammy (David) Kennedy of Mitchell

Brother:

Mike Poe of Paoli

Along with 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and Several nieces and nephews.

Visitation services will be Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a private funeral service.  Cremation will follow with a graveside Memorial service to be announced at a later date.

Brother Mark Manship will officiate along with Sister Sherry Burton.
