Lynda Lamb, 59, Orleans, Indiana who Passed January 30, 2024 at her home. Born October 24, 1964, in Abeline, Kansas. She was the daughter of John Lamb and Barbara DeWitt Lamb, both of whom preceded her.
She retired from French Lick Springs Resort after over 15 years of employment. After her retirement she continued to work at Smokin’ Jim’s BBQ in Bedford and Liner Products in Paoli.
She graduated from Yokota High School (Yokota Air Base, Japan) Class of 1982.
Lynda was also a member of the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Orleans.
Lynda was born into a military family that traveled, thus was able to spend her time growing up experiencing different countries such as Germany, The Philippines, and Japan. Japan being where she attended and graduated high school on Yokota Air Base. She remained a proud member of her graduating class of 1982 even after returning to the States.
She was passionate about continuing her education. She earned many different certificates and degrees throughout her life from IVY Tech College.
Lynda loved spending time at her “Happy Place”, also known as the ocean. While Florida’s Gulf Coast was her favorite place to visit, she also liked to visit and experience other beaches.
Lynda also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She believed no distance was too far to go to make her grandchildren happy or to have fun with them. Whether it be renting a bouncy castle or just spending quality time, her grandchildren meant the world to her.
Lynda cared about people. Not only her family and friends; She cared about everyone. She would do anything for anyone in need and was passionate about being a wonderful person. She was the kind of person who would give the last thing she had if it brightened the day of another. Lynda made it her mission to be a beautiful person on the inside and out.

Memorial Service to be held Friday February 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a short service to follow at Dillman Scott Funeral Home located at 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli IN 47454.
