Larry Terrell

Larry Lee Terrell, 80, of Paoli, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at IU Bloomington Hospital. He was born on September 3, 1941, in Paoli, Indiana to Floyd and Essie Mae Terrell. Larry married Rheta (Love) Terrell on January 22, 1960, and together they had three sons, Anthony, Jeffrey & Patrick. They separated in 2000 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jenny, LuAnn & Connie, and his son, Anthony Terrell.

Larry enjoyed UK Basketball and spending time at Churchill Downs. He was an avid morel mushroom hunter and was prolific in finding ginseng and yellowroot. As a young man, he enjoyed hanging out at Handy Andy’s. He worked at E&C Supply and was helpful in the Amish community, providing transportation.

Wife: Rheta Terrell, Paoli, Indiana

Sons: Anthony Terrell (deceased April 2010), Jeffrey (Christena) Terrell of Greenwood, Indiana & Patrick (Karen) Terrell of Indianapolis, Indiana

Brother: Floyd (Rosemary) Terrell Jr. & Thomas (Teresa) Terrell

Sister: Susan (Terrell) Deaton

Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday June 23,2022 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home 226  West Campbell St Paoli, IN 47454 with Interment to follow at the Stampers Creek Cemetery Paoli, IN.

Visitation from 10 AM until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
