Joe Edward Haley, 77, of Paoli, Indiana, went to his heavenly home on October 21, 2023.He was born to John E and Bertha R Overby Haley on October 18, 1946.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who never lost his joy for life and childlike curiosity for the wonders of God’s world.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Betty Haley and Judith R Cronin and brother Donald Haley.
He was a journeyman, he worked numerous jobs throughout his life. His favorite job being a preacher, sharing his love of the lord with everyone, stranger and loved ones alike. While the Lord has finally called him home, his angel has blessed and brightened the lives of all who knew him.

Also surviving Joe are many grandchildren and great grandchildren who held his heart and with whom he shared his love of sweets and adventurous tom foolery.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
