Germaine Joy Chapman

Germaine Joy Chapman, 79 of Paoli, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at IU Health Paoli Hospital in Paoli, Indiana. She was born March 8, 1944 in Aberdeen, South Dakota  to Gerald and Hilma Swenson Durand.

She married Lawrence  Chapman on April 2, 1977 and he survives.

Germaine was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother James Durand

 She was a 1962 graduate from Aberdeen Central high school, obtained her transcriptionist degree from Aberdeen Business school.

In her free time Germaine enjoyed making occasion cards for family and friends.

Cremation was Chosen. Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 west Campbell Street Paoli, IN 47454.
