Ellen Sturgeon, 76 of Paoli, Indiana passed away Friday April 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born April 6, 1944 in Paoli, Indiana to Lawrence and Ada Moore Dunn. She married Donald Sturgeon on May 27, 1960 and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Omer, Gerald, Donnie Eugene, Carl Wayne, and Everet; sisters, Rosie Florence, and Alice Clouse.
Ellen worked for Essex in Orleans, Smith Cabinet in Salem, MILIN Wood Factory in Paoli, Wabash in Paoli, and she retired from Paoli INC.
She enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time with family.

Visitation and funeral services for Ellen have been limited to private family only. Interment will be at Paoli Community Cemetery. Due to the CDC mass gathering recommendation enforced by Indiana Governor, Eric Holcomb, no more than 10 people are allowed in a room at a time. We have made the difficult decision to have the funeral service and visitation be restricted to immediate family only. While this is not our ideal situation, we ask that you understand we are all new at this reaction to the pandemic situation at hand.
