Debbie Blackburn, 62, of Paoli, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at her residence in Paoli, Indiana.  She was born on January 8, 1958 in Bedford, Indiana to Chester and Peggy Pate Asbury. Debbie married Melvin Blackburn on August 23, 2003 and he survives.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Matt Compton; and 2 brothers; Duane and Dennis Asbury.

She attended Syria Christian Church. Debbie enjoyed collecting angel figurines and taking care of her pygmy goats. She enjoyed spending time with family.

Debbie was employed at Save-A-Lot in Paoli.

Cremation was chosen.
