Clifton Coulter Obituary

Dillman-Scott Funeral Home

FARMINGTON – Clifton Lee Coulter of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on November 11, 2021, at SSM St. Clare Hospital in Fenton at the age of 77. He was born on June 9, 1944, in Paoli, Indiana to the late Clifford and Minnie “Fern” (Reister) Coulter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kelly Coulter, his brothers, Ivan Coulter and Phillip Coulter, and his sister, Mary Anne McGiveny.

Clifton is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Geri (Grimes) Coulter, his children, Dustin (Mandy Blevins) Coulter of Hardinsburg, IN, Kami (Damien) Wren of Farmington, and Cody (Haley) Coulter of Desloge, twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, his sister, Ethel Rae Rice of Paoli, IN, his daughter-in-law, Darlene Coulter Lauritsen of Venice, FL, many nieces, nephews, cousins, his church family, a host of friends, canine companions, Lovie and Diesel, and special kitty, Grace.

Clifton graduated from Paoli High School in 1962. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. Before Clifton answered his call to ministry in 1977, he was a construction superintendent on roads and bridges. He pioneered a church in Indiana in 1977 and one in Missouri in 2008. Clifton traveled to many nations proclaiming the gospel and seeing thousands of lives changed. Countless miracles happened under his ministry. Clifton is a legend for his revelation of God’s Grace and his ability to teach in such a way that those hearing understand and receive. He has served as the Pastor at Grace Family Outreach Church in Park Hills for the past 15 years. It has been his greatest joy as over the past year the church has grown exponentially. He was also the founder of Grace Family Outreach Center. He was many things – an author, an actor, a spiritual mentor, an artist, a world evangelist, a dog trainer, a talented carpenter, an authentic cowboy who loved riding horses but most of all he was a family man who loved his family above all; they were his heartbeat.
