Yvonne Pittman, 89 of Paoli, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Green Valley Care Center New Albany, IN. She was born August 13, 1930 in Leavenworth, Indiana to Jess & Lula Hilgert. Yvonne was married to Farris Pittman and he precedes her in death.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Farris.

Yvonne was a member of the Paoli Christian Church and she was a cafeteria supervisor at Paoli Throop Elementary School.

Visitation and funeral services for Yvonne have been limited to private family only. Burial will be at Paoli Community Cemetery. Due to the CDC mass gathering recommendation enforced by Indiana Governor, Eric Holcomb, no more than 50 people are allowed in a room at a time. We have made the difficult decision to have Yvonne Pittman’s funeral service and visitation be restricted to immediate family only. While this is not our ideal situation, we ask that you understand we are all new at this reaction to the pandemic situation at hand.
