Tom Smock

Tom Smock, 84, of Paoli, passed on April 20 at IU Health Hospital in Bedford.  He was born September 17, 1939 in Louisville, KY to George Thomas Smock jr. and Dorothy Bradshaw Fultz, both of whom preceded him.  He married Janice Stroud on February 2, 1974, and she survives him.

He was preceded by both parents, Ben Smock and David Fultz (brothers), Alice Smock (sister), Tony and Ricky Busick (Step-sons).

Tom retired from Indiana Natural Gas Company after working there for 35 years.

Tom was a member of the Valeene Wesleyan Church, Paoli Masonic Lodge #119, and member of the Green Acres Country Club for many years.

Some of Tom’s hobbies and interests included golfing, mushroom hunting, going to auctions, and tinkering on old cars.

8 Great-Grandchildren: Jobe, Logan, Camden, Ezra, Myah, Brynlee, Hadley, and Ella.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Thursday April 25, 2024 with Masonic Services at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment to follow at Paoli Community Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Valeene Wesleyan Church.
