Timothy Dewayne Austin

Timothy Dewayne Austin, 52, passed away March 27, 2025, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.  He was born on April 14, 1972, to Jackie and Cathy Brown Austin in Oakland City, Indiana.  He married Jennifer Leigh Easterday on July 15, 1995, and she survives.

He was preceded in death by:

Sister: Melissa Austin

Nephew: Tré Smith

Timothy was a member of the Paoli United Methodist Church.

He attended school in Orleans, IN and Pike Central School in Petersburg, IN.  He was a member of the Pike Central Graduating Class of 1990.  He then attended Oakland City University, where he graduated in 1992.

He worked for Paoli Inc. for 22 years and continued working there for approximately 10 years after they changed to JSI.

Timothy enjoyed being outside and had many outdoor hobbies including gardening, canning fruits and vegetables that he grew himself, hunting, fishing, coaching his daughter in soft ball, and participating in Relay for Life.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Paoli United Methodist Church. 794 IN-56 E, Paoli In, 47454)

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home. (226 W. Campbell St. Paoli IN, 47454) Visitation will also be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday at Paoli United Methodist Church.

Interment at Stamper’s Creek Cemetery immediately following funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Toys for Tots, which is an organization that Tim regularly donated to.

Donations can be made in person at the services and will be sent directly to the local chapter of Toys for Tots in Jasper, IN.
