Sylvanus Samuel Gibson

Dillman-Scott Funeral Home Sylvanus (Bill) Samuel  Gibson, 76,  passed away Monday, June 8, 2015, at his residence in Lebanon TN.  He was born August 24, 1938 in Jonesville VA  to Grant Gibson and Mattie Gibson.    He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers Paul Gibson and Elmer Gibson, 1 sister Glessye Nash and 1 granddaughter Tammy Lynn Brown. He was a retired auto mechanic, he served in the military United States Army, rank SP4: E-4 :T. He attended Paoli United Pentecostal  Church and the New Salisbury Full Gospel Church. Survivors include: 1 Son: William Joseph Gibson 3  Daughters: Terry Lynn Ballinger Carol Anne Reece Sherry Lee Tedrow 1 Brother: Ronald Gibson Also surviving  Sylvanus (Bill) Samuel Gibson are ten grandchildren . Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday June 13, 2015 at Paoli United Pentecostal  Church with Reverend Donald Laird and Rollie Collins officiating.  Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Elizabeth, IN.  Visitation to be held Friday June 12, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN and from 9 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the Paoli United Pentecostal Church, 237 S.
