Susan Thorlton

Susan “Susie” Thorlton, 62, Paoli, passed away April 22, 2023 at Paoli Health and Living, Paoli, IN.  She was born in Paoli, IN to Donald “Dode” and Thelma Cook Thorlton on August 22, 1960.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sandy Thorlton and grandson Wesley Menke.

She had been employed at Paoli Shoe Factory and Minton’s Quick Mart both in Paoli.

She enjoyed crafting, quilting and animals.  She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Surviving Susie are nine grandchildren:  Mackenzie, Caden, and Devin Menke, Kyra, Doren, and Liam Thorlton, Colten Morgan, Ashlyn Lindley and Keyona Sharp.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 also at the funeral home. Cremation to follow the services
