Sharon K (Stout) Garritson

Sharon K. Garritson, 75, of Paoli, Indiana passed away Wednesday June 6, 2018 at Paoli Health and Living in Paoli, Indiana.   She was born on April 9, 1943 in Crawford County, IN  to Wallace Stout and Frances Pauline (Mosson) Stout.  She married Lavelle Garritson and he passed away in 1990.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lavelle, one half brother, Joseph Flick, two step-children, Mark Garritson and Stan Garritson.

She graduated from Paoli High School and attended business college right after high school.

She worked  as a bookkeeper for the Orange County Hospital in Paoli, Indiana and retired as a assistant administrator of the hospital.

She enjoyed collecting dolls and different types of salt and pepper shakers.

She was a member of the Sundowner Bowling League  and serve as the bookkeeper and she was a former member of the Psi-Iota-Xi  Sorority in Paoli, Indiana.

2-Stepsons:

Curt Garritson,                                                                 Reno, NV

Paul Garritson,                                                                 Enterprise, AL

Also surviving Sharon K. Garritson, are two nieces and one nephew and several great nieces and nephews that she just adored.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday June 13, 2018 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home with Ray Trinkle officiating.   Interment will follow in the Paoli Community Cemetery.  Visitation to be held Tuesday June 12, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or any Diabetes Association of your choice.
