Samuel Lester Butler

Samuel Lester Butler, 74, of French Lick, passed away on November 10, 2024, at his home.  He was born August 3, 1950, in Shoals, IN to Samuel Roscoe and Minnie Viola Probasco Butler, both of whom preceded him in death.  He married Donna Mae Huff on November 16, 1967, and she preceded him.  He was also preceded by Brothers: Laverne “Bud” and Leroy Butler, Sisters: Fern Tayler, Elsie Butler, Jane Crow, and Betty Salmon, and Grandson: Jamie Phillips.

Samuel worked at French Lick Resort for over 50 years, eventually retiring from there.

12 Grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen with a graveside service to be held at a later date.
