Sally (Stout) Jones

August 25, 1924 — February 1, 2013

Sally Stout Jones, 88 of Paoli, passed away Friday at 9:53 AM, February 1 2013 at her residence.  She  was born August 25, 1924  in Paoli, IN to Raymond Stout and Sarah Elizabeth Oakes Stout.

She was married to Louis F Jones for 64 years and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2011.  She was a homemaker and a member of Paoli Friends Meeting  and an associate member of Tri Kappa.  She enjoyed her family, friends, and was an avid fan of the Kentucky Derby.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband Louis.

Survivors Include:

Two daughters:  Sarah Whiteman and husband Terry of Orleans.

Louanne Lashbrook and husband Jon of Paoli.

One brother:      John T Stout    Memphis, TN

Two sisters:        Adaline Gennett

Jessie McCambridge, both of Sarasota, FL

7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at the Paoli Friends Meeting House Church on Gospel Street with Pastor Dan Smetzer and Pastor James Walters officiating.

Interment to follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery.   Friends may call from 4-8 pm Monday at Dillman Scott Funeral Home and from 9am until the time of service at Paoli Friends Meeting House Church.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Hoosier Uplands Hospice
