Ruth (Davisson) Turner

Ruth E. Turner, 92, of French Lick, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at IU Health, Paoli.  She was born in Ashland, Illinois on September 21, 1928 to Edward and Ora Qualkenbush Davisson. Ruth married Thomas Turner on October 17, 1959 and he preceded her in death.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Charles and Glen “Bud” Davisson, and sister Hazel Spencer.

She was a member of the French Lick American Legion. Ruth worked as a nursing assistant in Illinois for several years and was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, taking rides in the evening, and spending time with family.

Cremation was chosen. Private graveside to be held at a later date.
