Ruth Ellen (Trinkle) Hudelson/Cook

Dillman-Scott Funeral Home Ruth Ellen Trinkle Hudelson Cook, 91, of Paoli passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at IU Hospital of Paoli.   She was born on October 5, 1926 in Paoli, Indiana to Clyde Trinkle and Bethel (Hackney) Trinkle.  She married Clifford Hudelson in 1944 and he passed on September 9, 1967. She married Kenneth Cook in 2004 and he passed on October 7, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford and husband Kenneth.  Two sisters Emogean Roberts and Shirley Trinkle. She worked at several locations over the years. Orange County Extension Office, Orange County Welfare Department, H & R Block in Paoli, Indiana and the First Miss Fertilizer Plant in Leipsic, Indiana. She attended the Paoli Presbyterian Church and the Old Union United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Paoli Senior Citizen and also volunteered at the Orange County Food Pantry in Paoli. Her hobbies included oil painting, quilting, reading, and gardening. Survivors include: 2-Sons: Ed and Karen Hudelson, Paoli, IN Jim and Carol Hudelson, Paoli, IN 1-Daughter: Carole and Eddie Powell, Paoli, IN Also surviving Ruth Ellen Trinkle Hudelson Cook, are Eight grandchildren and Nineteen great-grandchildren 9 Great-Great Grandchildren. Funeral  Services will be 11:00 A.M.  Friday February 23, 2018 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Old Union United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation to be held Thursday February 22, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. until time of service on Friday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, Indiana.
