Robin Wilson, 67 of Paoli IN passed away Friday, August 22 at IU Health Paoli Hospital. He was born in Franklin, KY to Laban Robbins and Beatrice Clark Wilson on April 20, 1947. He married Leslie Long on January 7, 1972 and she survives.
He graduated from Castle Heights Military in 1965, attended the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University Of Wyoming School of Pharmacy in 1976.
Robin and his family moved to Paoli in 1981. He and Bob McIntosh owned Medical Group Pharmacy. When he became the sole owner of the pharmacy he expanded the pharmacy’s service to the community by setting up the first computerized pharmacy with a drive up window and home delivery service. He further serviced the community by providing local and surrounding nursing homes with medical prescriptions and supplies
He was a member of the Paoli Mennonite Church, American Society of Hospital Pharmacist, a founding board member of Community Pharmacies of Indiana. He was also a former member of Paoli Meridian Lions Club .Robin served for many years on the finance committee for the Paoli Mennonite Fellowship. He was also instrumental in setting up endowment funds for the Paoli Community through the Orange County Community Foundation. Through his involvement with the ICPA he met local pharmacy owners the Williams Brothers because Robin shared similar core values and beliefs he accepted the sale of the Medical Group Pharmacy and went on to help grow and manage Williams Brothers in Paoli for another 10 years before retiring. Robin Had a passion for charitable giving within our community.

Cremation was chosen. The family will receive Friends Saturday August 30, 2014 from 11AM -1 PM at the Paoli Mennonite Fellowship. With a Memorial service to follow at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers please consider donations be made to The Orange County Food Pantry. Habitat For Humanity or the Orange County Humane Society
