Robert K. Rominger, 84 of Paoli, Indiana passed away Monday, September 26th, 2016, at IU Health Paoli in Paoli, Indiana.
He was born on January 28th, 1932 in West Baden Springs, Indiana to Jesse and Hazel (Courtright) Rominger.
He married Annabelle Kirby on December 21st, 1957 and she survives.
Robert was preceded in death by his father and (1) Sister – Virginia S. Belcher.
He was a member of the Paoli United Methodist Church in Paoli, Indiana where he was a wonderful mentor to all those around him both inside and outside the church.
Robert graduated from the West Baden Springs High School with the Class of 1949. He worked at Tarnow in Kansas, Illinois and also for Snedegar Construction Inc. in Bloomington, Indiana. He was a member of the Terre Haute Operating Engineers Local 841.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Doctor LaMont L. Bonath at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30th, 2016 at the Paoli United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Ames Chapel Cemetery. Military Graveside Rites will be performed by the Orleans American Legion Warren Brock Post #69.
VISITATION
Friends may call on Thursday, September 29th, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Paoli United Methodist Church in Paoli, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Paoli United Methodist Church Fund or to the Orange County Good Samaritans Fund.
