Rita R. (Reising) Kerby

Rita R. Kerby of Paoli, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 31st, 2016 at IU Health Paoli Campus in Paoli, Indiana. She was born October 31st, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Chester and Cara (Thompson) Reising. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, (1) Brother - Harry Reising and (2) Sisters - Kay and Marie. She married William M. Kerby Jr. on March 5th, 1949. Rita was employed by Judge Rhys Rhoades in the Paoli Town Court. She was also a deputy Auditor for Orange County and then retired from Tucker and Tucker Law Office. She attended the Syria Christian Church and served as an officer for many years in the Red Cross. Rita is survived by: (1) Son  Billy Kerby and wife Donetta of Paoli, Indiana (1) Daughter   Carolyn Carmichael Jones of Paoli, Indiana (4) Grandchildren and (4) Great-Grandchildren Visitation will be held 4-8 PM on Monday, January 2nd, 2017 and Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 from 9 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home.
