Dateline:  Paoli, In. Richard Oliver Longest age 69 of Paoli, IN lost his battle with cancer on April 20, 2012 at Paoli Health and Living.  Richard was born in Paoli, IN on May 22, 1942 to Les Longest and Annie Hankins Longest.  He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers John and Gilbert Longest, two sisters Martha Jackson and Jennie Bell Lynch, and a daughter Susan Longest.  Richard worked several years at Carpenter Body Works and retired from Milin Woodworking in Paoli.  He was a member of Apple’s Chapel Church. Survivors include: Longtime companion Bonnie Dilley      Paoli, IN Friend and Mother to his children Linda Knight Longest     Mitchell, IN One son Bryan Longest     Mitchell, IN Two daughters Hope Edmonson     Mitchell, IN Becky George     Mitchell, IN One brother Robert Longest     Paoli, IN One sister Reva Wininger     Paoli IN 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive.
