Raymond C Ball

Raymond Ball, age 86 of Palmyra, formerly of the Paoli area, passed away on August 4, 2012 at the Floyd Memorial Hospital In New Albany.  Raymond was born in Greenfield, In on March 26, 1926 to William and Eva Spencer Ball.  He was a member of the Christ Community Church of Marengo.  He also attended Moore's Ridge Church earlier in life.  Raymond worked many years for the Paoli First Chance Center.  He also worked for the Blue River Services at the Salem and Corydon branches.

He was preceded in death by his parents,  brother, Gene Spencer and two sisters, Joann Bass and Patty Spencer.  He is also survived by many friends and church members who he loved to entertain with his harmonica.

Funeral services to be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Dillman Scott Funeral Home in Paoli with pastor Tony McCutcheon officiating.  Burial to follow at Moore's Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time service Tuesday at the funeral home.  Online condolences can be made at www.dillmanscottfunerahome.com .
