Philip Vernon Workman

Philip Vernon Workman 93, of Paoli, IN passed away August 10, 2014 at Salem Crossing. He was born December 27, 1920 in Hillsboro, OH to Joseph and Monta Workman.  He married Elise Bean on November 20, 1941 and she precedes.  He retired from Beaver Creek High School and attended the West Baden First Baptist Church for many years. He was also a member of the French Lick Masonic Lodge and a World War 2 US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Sons, Philip Lee, and Brian Lynn, Daughter, Nancy Kay,  Brothers, Don, Robert, and Joseph, and sisters, Helen and Harriett. Surviving are Daughter:     Bobbie Condra        West Baden, IN Grandchildren: 8 Great-Grandchildren: 12 In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hoosier Uplands Hospice Visitation will be from 4 PM-8 PM on Wednesday August 13, 2014.  Visitation from 9 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM Thursday August 14, 2014 at the Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 W Campbell Street, Paoli, IN.  Interment will follow at the Ames Chapel Cemetery in Paoli, IN with Pastor Bud Keilhorn officiating.
