Peggy Darline Asbury

Dillman-Scott Funeral Home Peggy Darline Asbury, 78 of Paoli, passed away Thursday October 29, 2015, at her residence.   She was born October 23, 1937, in Lawrence County, IN to J. Wayne Pate and Cynthia Tredway Pate.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester Asbury, two sons Rex Asbury and Chester Duane Asbury, one grandson Matthew Compton, two brothers Leonard Pate, and Arkey Pate and two sisters Sue Patton and Bertha Asbery.  She married Chester Asbury on October 20, 1956, he passed away on July 2, 2009. She retired from A.O. Smith Corporation in Paoli Survivors include: 3-Sons: Randy Earl Asbury, West Baden, IN Dennis Ray Asbury, Paoli, IN Roger Dean Asbury, Paoli, IN 1-Daughter: Debbie Blackburn, Paoli, IN 2-Sisters: Clara Judd, Orleans, IN Pam Cooper, Paoli, IN Also surviving Peggy Darline Asbury are seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday November 3, 2015 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at the Mt Gilead Cemetery, Paoli, IN.  Visitation to be held Monday November 2, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and from 9 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN.
