Nancy White, 84, of Canton, Michigan passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents John and Betty Woodburn, her brother Robert Woodburn, and her sister Joyce Specht. Nancy is survived by her sisters, Carol Woodburn and Mary Uyesugi, and her children Heidi Raia (Alex), John White, Robert White, Matthew White, Dusty White (Robyn), and Laura Lowder (Adam), 20 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Nancy was born in Frankfort, Kentucky and grew up in southern Indiana where she spent much of her life. She earned a graduate degree in Art Education at Indiana University. She was an artist and enjoyed painting with oil colors. She loved music, playing the piano, organ, guitar, and singing. She was a long-time, faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served within the church in many capacities over the years. She was always thinking of others and what she could do to help them. Nancy loved family history and dedicated many hours of her life researching her ancestors.

Nancy’s funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1010 22nd St., Bedford, IN on June 13, 2026, at 2 pm.
