Morris Kesterson

Morris Kesterson, 82, Paoli, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Paoli, IN. He was born May 28, 1940 in Mitchell, IN to Sam and Alta McPherson Kesterson.

Morris was a graduate of the class of 1958 of Paoli High School.  He was a construction worker and a brick mason working in the Paoli area. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering on old cars. He also enjoyed watching IU basketball, Indianapolis Colts football, and spending time with family & friends.

Morris was a member of the Newton Stewart Masonic Lodge #432 F&AM, the American Legion, and a United States Army Veteran serving overseas in Korea.

He married Shirley Busick April 6, 1996 she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles Bronson, Tom, Rick, Carl Sr and Matt, sisters Venus Eddington, Martha Kesterson, Lucy Eastridge, and Mary Lou Kesterson.

Sister:        Lillian Scott      Punta Gorda, FL

Also surviving Morris are ten grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell St, Paoli IN.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2023 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
