Mickey Russell Lewellyn

Dillman-Scott Funeral Home Mickey Russell  Lewellyn, 62 of Paoli, passed away Saturday November 7, 2015, at IU Health of Bloomington, IN.  He was born February 3, 1953, in Scottsburg, IN to Omer L Lewellyn and Joyce Helen Haley Lewellyn Smith.  He was preceded in death by his parents a Brother" Omer" Butch" Lewellyn Jr.And step-father Russell Smith.   He married Betty Mishelle Jones on November 24, 1973. He retired from the Air Force in 1992 after 20 years of service , he was a reserve Deputy Officer with the Orange County Sheriff Department He was head of security at Fourwinds in Bloomington, IN  and he was a security officer with Owens Detective Agency. He was a member of the Paoli Mennonite Fellowship and a member of the Hooterville Flying Lions in Minot, ND. Survivors include: His wife:  Betty Mishelle Lewellyn Paoli, IN 2-Sons: Richard Lewellyn & wife Michele Minot, ND Shaun Lewellyn & wife Crystal Minot, ND 1-Daughter: Melissa Lewellyn Paoli, IN 2-Brothers: Mike Lewellyn Salem, IN Brad Wellman Paoli, IN 4-Sisters: Donna Lawson Palmyra, IN Tonya Bowles Paoli, IN Latricia Warren Salem, IN Laquitta Maxwell Salem, IN Also surviving Mickey Russell Lewellyn, are five grandchildren, Randy, Devan, Kylee, Meika, and Meira and four great-grandchildren Isabella, Daysun, Zoe, and Ivory Rose . Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday November 13, 2015 at the Paoli Mennonite Fellowship .  Visitation to be held Friday November 13, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Paoli Mennonite Fellowship Church, 2589 N CR 100 W, Paoli, IN  47454 In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Orange County Center for Women's Ministries, 326 N Gospel Street, Paoli, IN 47454.
