Matthew Minton

Matthew Dunbar Minton, 59, of Lexington, KY passed away April 18, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY.  He was born on February 15, 1965 in Bedford, IN. to B. Harold and Joy Dunbar Minton, both of whom preceded him.  He married Sharon Eversole on October 8, 1994, and she survives him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Lincoln (Curly) and Leo Dunbar, and Ben and Lucille Minton, and his Father-in-law Jim Eversole.

Matt was a graduate of Paoli High School, attended Marian College, and was a graduate of Indiana University Southeast.  While in high school he participated in the Pride of Paoli Band and was a member of the baseball team.

Matt was an avid lover of animals.  Especially his German Shepherds and cats.

He retired in 2021 from Mayer Fabrics of Indianapolis, IN.

Cremation was chosen with a Memorial service to be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday April 27, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home.  226 W. Campbell St, Paoli, IN 47454.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday April 27, at the funeral home.
