Mary Jane “Janie” Compton, 77, of Paoli, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Paoli Health and Living. She was born February 3, 1948, in Paoli, IN to Howard W. Compton and Virginia Payton Compton, both of whom preceded her.
She was also preceded by:

Brother: Ronald R. Compton
Sisters: Margie Morgan, Karen Henson, Beverly Wood
Mary was a member of the Sulphur Creek Church and the Orange County Dirt Diggers Club.
She was a member of the Paoli High School class of 1966.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her entire family. She especially enjoyed the children in her family and spending time with them.

Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday May 28, 2025, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, IN.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2025. and until time-of-service Wednesday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, IN.
Interment to follow funeral service at Sulphur Creek Cemetery.
