Mary Helen Collier

Mary Helen “Honey” Radcliff Collier, 97, of Paoli, IN passed away March 2, 2015 at Westview Nursing Facility in Bedford, IN.  She was born in Paoli, IN on July 21, 1917 to Alonzo Radcliff and Estella Roberts Radcliff.  She married Russell Collier on December 31, 1938.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell, brothers Everitt, Merle, Earl and Clyde, sisters  Lois Hammond, Geneva Easterday, and Wanda Slaten.  Also preceding her in death are grandchildren Todd Leonard and Aimee-Lynne Collier She was a member of the Paoli United Methodist Church, Paoli Chapter #472 Order of Eastern Star, Orange County Democratic Auxiliary and an inactive member of Tri Kappa.  She worked at Orange County Bank, Hoosier Uplands, Hoosier National Forest, and Paoli Health and Living.  She finally decided to retire at the age of 85. Mary Helen had lived in Paoli her entire life, except for a time in the 50’s and 60’s, where she lived in Florida and raised her children.  She moved back to Paoli to take care of an ill family member.. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN.  Tom Bostic to officiate and interment to follow at Paoli Community Cemetery
