Marilyn Sue (Myers) Crowder

Marilyn Sue Crowder, 88, passed away October 28, 2024, at her residence in Paoli.  She was born November 10, 1935, to Victor and Edith Wade Myers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Stephen Crowder and Toby Crowder, one sister: Bettie Tanksley, four brothers: Robert Myers, Norman Myers, Donald Myers, and Maurice Myers.

Marilyn attended Paoli Wesleyan Church.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  She loved the Lord, life, and her family.  She enjoyed gospel music, singing, and dancing.  Marilyn always wore a beautiful smile and radiated positivity and beauty throughout her life.  She never met a stranger.  Marilyn was the co-founder of the “Save Our Flag” organization.  She was an avid patriot who loved her country.  She also enjoyed decorating and working with flowers.

23 Great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, IN.  Brother Lyndel Manship will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, IN.

Interment at Smedley Church of Christ Cemetery to follow Funeral Service.
