Margie G (Schriber) Mcbride

Dillman-Scott Funeral Home Margie G. McBride, 88, of Paoli passed away Sunday April 1, 2018 at IU Health of Paoli.   She was born on November 1, 1929 in Paoli, Indiana to Parvin Schriber and Lorene Scott Schriber.  She married David “DC” McBride Sr. on May 23, 1953 and he passed on May 23, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David, three brothers Robert Lee Schriber, Bob Schriber, and Bud Schriber, five sisters Pauline Dillard, Nancy Jane Schriber, Evelyn Brinson, Jeanette  Postin, and Naomi Sorrells, three grandchildren Sharon K. Eversole, Colin J. Wyatt and Trent D. DeWeese. She worked for Cornwell Company, Indiana Handle, Travelers, and  Health Care Provider. She was a member of Syria Christian Church in Orleans, Indiana. She enjoyed cooking for everyone and she loved  gardening and flowers. Survivors include: 2-Sons: Terry Ferguson, N. Augusta, SC David C. McBride Jr., Mitchell, IN 2-Daughters: Susan Wyatt, Paoli, IN Geri Smith, Paoli, IN 1-Sister: Jeanie Glenn, Boonville, IN Also surviving Margie G. McBride, are two grandchildren Kari Lowanse, and Lauren Anderson, seven great-grandchildren, Nikki DeWeese, Haleigh DeWeese, Kody Eversole, Robbie Wyatt, Cecila and Coleson, Annie Lowanse, Alaina  Lowanse and Kenlee Lowanse and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will follow, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Stampers Creek Cemetery with Jimmy Johnson and Larry Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Stampers Creek Cemetery.  Visitation to be held Wednesday April 4, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
