She was born June 29, 1923 in French Lick to James Jacob Groff and Rosetta Beatty Groff. She married Silvester Rainey on August 22, 1942. He preceded her in death along with 2 Sons, Darrell & Gene Rainey, 1 grandson, Timothy Dunagan, and several brothers & sisters. She was a homemaker. Margie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in French Lick, IN. Survivors include: 1 Son: Ronald Rainey   French Lick, IN 1 Daughter: Corleen Rainey     Mitchell, IN 9 Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Cremation was chosen with memorial services to be held at a later date.
