Makenzi Elizabeth Sweet

Makenzi Elizabeth Sweet, 24, of Orleans, Indiana passed away November 28, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born April 18, 1999 in Paoli, IN  to  David Sweet and Whitni Goodpaster.

She was preceded in death by maternal great grandfather Ray Knight, paternal great grandfather David Parsley, and paternal great grandmother Barbara Chandler.

She graduated with the Orleans High School class of 2018.

Makenzi was passionate, kind, and loving with the biggest heart.  She never met a stranger.  She loved her family and would go to no end to keep them safe.  She always led with her heart first.  Her hugs were warm and without end.  Her smile was radiant and her laugh filled the room.  If you were lucky enough to know her, then you knew what a blessing that was. She is and was a light-she was everything.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Monday, December 4, 2023 at Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, In 47454.  Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 2:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home Cremation to follow with Interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Hardinsburg, IN at a later date In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
