Mabel Irene (Pluris) Lane

Mabel Irene Lane, 102 years of age of Paoli, passed away Sunday at 6:53 AM, December 23, 2012 at Paoli Health & Living.  She was born February 4, 1910 in Paoli, IN to Everett  and Addie Eickelberger Pluris. She married  Willis J Lane on May 31, 1930 and He preceded her June 8, 1995.  She was a member of the Paoli United Methodist Church She also attended Beech Grove Friends Meeting . She was a charter member of the Beech Grove Home EC Club. Mabel was a homemaker who loved gardening, cooking, and an avid animal lover.

Preceded in death by parents,  1 daughter Betty Ann Oakley. Brothers Orliff, Charles and Loyd Pluris  two sisters Hazel Brown and  Lettie Cissel.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home Paoli, In. with Pastor Darrell Benham & Valerie Fuoghty Killion officiating.

Interment to follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery.  Friends may call 4 PM -8 PM Thursday, and 9 AM until time of service Friday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN.
