Lynn Toth

Lynn Toth, 64, French Lick, IN passed away on August 17, 2026, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born September 20, 1961, in Prince Georges, Maryland to Philip M. and Kathleen Jane Sansom Theodore, both of whom preceded her in death. Lynn married Steven Toth in 2012, and he survives.

Lynn met Steve at Camp Atterbury in 2009 while she was working with a military support organization. They were married in 2012, and in 2013 they decided to “move to the country” choosing French Lick as their new home. She loved the abundance of wildlife they were able to experience here, with the Hummingbirds being her favorite.

One of her favorite things to do was to pack up their fur-babies and go camping (or glamping as their family and friends call it) at Sycamore Springs. Lynn loved participating in the trick-or-treating at Halloween, helping to fill the candy buckets of around 700 kids each year. She loved decorating for the holiday as well, with her and Steve winning the Halloween décor contest in past years.

Lynn was a server for most of her life, working at the French Lick Springs Hotel, Denny’s, and Nila’s Place. Later she worked for the Indiana DNR at Patoka Lake, where she checked in guests to the campground.

Lynn loved her purses, shoes, and boots. Nicknamed “Shoe Lynn”, her extensive and impressive collection of shoes and boots is something most would only see on a celebrity television show.

Lynn brightened the world around her by being kind, giving, loving and caring to those around her. At the same time, she had a firm stance in her beliefs and wasn’t afraid to stand up or speak up for what was right.

Lynn has been described as “the most patriotic person you would ever meet”. Her and Steve are members of CVMA – Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 14-9.

She loved God and her country.

Most of all, Lynn, or “Glammaw” as she was named by her Granddaughter, loved her family and her fur-babies: Mazie, Mia, Myra Lynn (preceded her in death), Mojo Tank (preceded), and Minnie.

Lynn is also survived by several family members in Hungary.

Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life to be held on September 26 at French Lick American Legion #76 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. (8607 W. Main Street French Lick, IN 47432)
