Lillian Jean Smith, 81 of Paoli, passed away Wednesday March 9, 2016, at Westview Nursing Home in Bedford IN.  She was born March 8, 1935, in Stephensburg, KY. to Bradley Sarver and Pauline Jeffries Sarver.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman Lee Smith and one daughter Lavon Campbell.

She married Norman Lee Smith on June 1, 1957.

She was formerly employed with Henry Vogt Machinery Company in Louisville, KY.

She was a member of Emanuel Methodist Church in Louisville KY.   She was a past president of Valley High School and also Dixie Elementary School in Louisville, KY.

Survivors include:

1-Son:

Darryl Lee Smith and wife Joyce,  Owensboro, KY

1-Sister:

Doris Embry,  Louisville, KY

Also surviving Lillian Jean Smith, are one grandson Kyle Johnson, Indianapolis, IN and one granddaughter Katylan Pierce, Owensboro, KY.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday March 11, 2016 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, with Pastor Dave Manship officiating.  Interment to follow at the Bethany Cemetery in Valley Station, KY.    Visitation to be held Friday March 11, 2016 from  9 AM until the time of service on Friday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN.
