Lillian (Hoffart) Brand

Lillian M. Brand, 91, passed away June 4, 2025, surrounded by family at home in Paoli.  She was born on March 15, 1934, to John Hoffart and Monica Stroh Hoffart in Aberdeen, SD.  She married Thayer “Bud” Brand on September 3, 1956, and he survives.

Lillian was a member of the Aberdeen High School Class of 1952.

She was also a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Paoli and was a former member of Tri Kappa Sorority.

Lillian was primarily a homemaker.  Her home and family were her life.

She volunteered at the Hospital in Paoli, was a Eucharistic Minister at Christ the King Catholic Church and enjoyed RV traveling.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday June 9, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Paoli.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday June 8, 2025, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home. (226 W. Campbell St. – Paoli, IN 47454) Visitation will also be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday June 9, 2025 at the Church and will be followed by the funeral service.

Interment at Paoli Community Cemetery immediately following funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, Lillian’s family would like donations to be made to the Paoli First Chance Center (P.O. Box 267 – Paoli, IN 47454) or Christ the King Catholic Church.
