Lewis W. Vance 92 years of age of Paoli passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Paoli Health and Living. He was born September 11, 1919 in Valeene, Indiana to Edward and Alice Elizabeth Vance. Lewis retired from Paoli Chair, was a member of the Paoli First Baptist Church and a WWII Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Ernestine Holiday, Brothers; Earl and Carl Vance. Sisters; Erma Stroud, Eleanor Burnett and Meta Clark.
Survivors include:
2 Sons: Ronnie (Tonda) Vance of Paoli
Vincent (Rhonda) Vance of Paoli
Brother: Mahlon Vance of Muncie, Indiana
Sister: Elma Burden of Paoli
7 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren
Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, with burial to follow in Paoli Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 PM on Tuesday and after 9 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
