Leslie “Clyde” Jones, 78, of Mitchell, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at IU Health, Bloomington. He was born on December 13, 1943, in Crane, Indiana to Lester Elvis and Mary Jane Newlin Jones. Clyde married Rita Edwards on November 4, 1972, and she survives.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, and 4-brother’s, Herb, Bobby, Woody, and Clifford.

He was retired from Gaylor. Clyde enjoyed riding ATV’s, hunting, and fishing, and spending time with his family.

Clyde was a National Guard Veteran.

Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Paoli Christian Church, located at 1700 W. Hospital Rd, Paoli, Indiana 47454. Due to COVID, we ask you practice social distancing. Face masks are recommended.
