Leslie E Ash

Leslie E Ash, 82, Paoli, passed away at 7:33 A.M. May 30, 2014, at his residence.  He was born December 12, 1931 in Litchfield, KY to the late Roy and Freda Coates Ash.  He married Thelma Perkins on August 8, 1948. He was a retired   Union Laborer out of local # 795 and he was an US Army Veteran.  He was lifetime member of the Paoli VFW Post #8302 and a member of the Warren Brock American Legion Post # 69 Orleans, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 brother Charles Ash and 1 son Michael. Surviving are: 1 Son                  Shane Buchanan         Orleans, IN 4 Daughters:      Cheryl Dillard         Paoli, IN Beverly Mclane     Evansville, IN Cindy Lee Bake         Paoli, IN Leslie Burger       Orleans, IN 1 Brother           Roy Ash Jr                     Florida 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren survive him. Cremation was chosen Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday on June 4, 2014 at the Paoli Community Cemetery  with George Key officiating.
