Kaye Donald Eckensberger

Kaye Donald “Bully” Eckensberger, 87, of Paoli, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at I.U. Health in Bedford, Indiana. He was born on August 9, 1935, in Mitchell, Indiana to Williard Eckensberger and Sara N. Curtsinger Eckensberger.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lois Halbert Woolston, and was married on December 27, 1997.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Barry Woolston.

“Bully” was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Orleans, Indiana. He also attended Mitchell Church of God and was a member of Mitchell Exchange Club. He enjoyed I.U. and local high school sports. Most of all, “Bully” enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Bully retired from Mitchell Crushed Stone (Rogers Group) after 30 years of service.

Seven grandchildren also survive “Bully” including Caleb Baumgardner, Caleb Craig, Mattison Craig, Jessica Woolston, Kelly Woolston, Jennifer Sinclair, and Dylan Woolston.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 3,2022 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454. Interment to follow at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm until 7 pm on Friday, September 2,2022 at the funeral home and from 9 am until the time of service on Saturday.
