Katherine Minton Cook, 79 years of age of Paoli passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 31, 1932 in Orange County, Indiana to Lawrence and MyrtleWellman. Katherine worked as a cashier at Minton’s Quick Market for several years, was a member of the Paoli First Baptist Church, the Red Hat Society, Paoli Senior Citizens and the Crawford County ExtensionHomaker Club. She was preceded in death by husbands; Johnny Paul Minton and Claude Cook, 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Survivors include:
3 Sons: Mike (Rachel) Minton of Paoli
Ricky (Joyce) Minton of Lynnville, Indiana
Bobby (Paula) Minton of Paoli
Sister: Martha McIntosh of Floyds Knobs, Indiana
7 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Paoli First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Paoli Community Cemetery. Pastor Ron Yarbrough will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 4 -8 PM Tuesday at the Wellman Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. in Paoli and after 9 AM on Wednesday at the church. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Paoli First Baptist Church. Online condolences can be made at wellmanfh.com
